The MobiMed communication module has been improved over the years and is now optimized to handle poor coverage on narrow bandwidths. MobiMed automatically reconnects whenever in coverage again and starts to transmit data, in a clinical prioritized order without any user interaction. MobiMed manages all IP-based communications options such as GPRS, TETRA (Rakel), Satellite and also Mobitex. It is possible to use both primary and secondary channel in both docked and undocked mode.
